Summary: The Demonata is a series of book written by Darren Shan which deals with the world of demons. Demons exist and they loathe the human universe. They are despicable, weak and helpless against the endless flesh hungry imps that constantly open up tunnels of magic to the human universe with only one group holding them back: the Disciples. Made up of special military forces, businesses and magicians, the Disciples are constantly on the move. but three youths will make a difference in the battle against the fiends. Bec, Grubbs and Kernel are part of the most powerful weapon in both universes; the Kah-Gash. Before I begin reviewing the books, bear in mind these books are actually made for teen readers but if you are not a fan of gore, then this is not your cup of tea.

Why i picked it up: My friend Siti had recommended to me in 2009 and i was hooked since then.
Why i keep on reading: Battling through the end, losing allies along the way, these series will surely keep you on the edge of your nerves and leave you craving for more. It was just a cliffhanger. I liked all of the gory, violent and gruesome descriptions, the plot itself and the magic. It wasn't like the usual magical fairy tale that is for sure.
